This piece is inspired by celestial eclipses. I create the amulet by hammering and texturing a large brass disc and a smaller sterling silver disc. I solder the two elements together and assemble the necklace with sterling silver chain. The necklace is about 16" long, and the amulet is about 1.75" tall.
